Winter Shortmat Leagues.

Shortmat Leagues 2021/22

The Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon shortmat leagues was organised throughout the winter months and was well supported. The Tuesday league had 8 teams taking part and the final result was not settled until the very last game with the top three teams only being separated by 1 point each.

The eventual winners by just 1 single point were Peter Saunders & Sam Smith.

 Adie Franklin & Compton Johnson were runners up.

The Wednesday afternoon league is run slightly different with 2 divisions of 5 teams in each and the winners of each division play off to establish an overall winner.

The Winners this year was Roly Smith & Glenda Knight, Runners up being Andrew Hart & Sam Smith.

Between the 2 leagues, we were able to contribute over £500.00 towards club funds.
